Maayan started her career in event services as a young girl, learning the ropes of her family’s catering company and managing events single-handedly by the time she was 16. After receiving a B.A in Communications from UC Santa Barbara and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Sonoma State University, Maayan took a position with a corporate hotel in San Francisco, planning and executing a wide range of social events, executive meetings and tradeshows.

It was only when Maayan returned to the catering industry years later as a Director of Sales and Special Events, when she realized that her true passion was event planning and event management. With this new self-realization, she launched My Eventology, and devoted herself to providing the most expert, hands-on event management and planning services to clients old and new.
